The sixth-ranked Tyler Junior College Apaches took a 95-60 Region XIV victory over the Victoria College Pirates on Saturday at VC's Sports Center.

Jacob Brown (San Marcos) had 25 points for the Pirates, who dropped to 0-11 overall and 0-7 in Region XIV games. Kenyatis Turner (Corpus Christi King) added 18 points and 11 rebounds for VC, while Mikael Garza (Lubbock Coronado) had 10 points.

Tyler JC improved to 15-0 and 7-0.

The Pirates return to action Wednesday at Angelina College.
