Victoria College's Jacob Brown (San Marcos) made 6-of-10 shots from 3-point range and finished with 28 points in Saturday's 105-57 Region XIV loss to the Lamar State College Seahawks.

Kenyatis Turner (Corpus Christi King) had 14 points and five rebounds for the Pirates, who fell to 0-13 overall and 0-9 in Region XIV games.

Lamar State College improved to 10-10 and 4-5.

VC returns to Region XIV action Wednesday when it travels to Baytown to face Lee College.
