BRENHAM - The Victoria College Pirates had four players score in double figures Wednesday night in a 120-89 Region XIV loss to the Blinn College Buccaneers.

The Pirates, now 0-16 and 0-12 in Region XIV play, were led by Jacob Brown (San Marcos), who had 33 points and four assists. Brown made five of 10 shots from beyond the 3-point arc. Kenyatis Turner (Corpus Christi King) added 25 points and made four of his six attempts from 3-point range. Mikael Garza (Lubbock Coronado) finished with 17 points and Larryon Forde (Savannah, Ga.) added 11.

Blinn College improved to 15-7 and 5-6.

Victoria College will return to Region XIV action Saturday when it hosts Coastal Bend College at 2 p.m.
