Miles Macadory (Sachse/Paris Junior College) came off the bench to score 25 points and lead the Victoria College Pirates to an 88-80 Region XIV East Division victory over the Jacksonville College Jaguars on Saturday at VC's Sports Center.
The win was the Pirates' first at home since joining the NJCAA in 2019.
Macadory was 5-of-7 from beyond the arc and also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds. VC made 14-of-32 3-pointers in the game.
Tariq Aman (Coppell/Temple College) and Jordan Wallace (Fort Bend Ridge Point/Collin College) each had 15 points for the Pirates. Kenyatis Turner (Corpus Christi King) had nine points and seven rebounds. Ethan Austin (Eustace/Blinn College) was 3-of-4 from beyond the arc and finished with nine points.
Victoria College (3-4) returns to action Wednesday when it travels to Port Arthur for a 4 p.m. contest at Lamar State College.
