KILGORE - The Victoria College Pirates fell to 0-2 in Region XIV play Saturday in a 78-57 loss to the second-ranked Kilgore College Rangers.

Ky Blodget (Katy Taylor) topped VC with 16 points while teammate Kaelon Harkema (Louisville, Ky.) added 14. Chandler Collins-Johnson (Humble Atascocita) had nine points on 4-of-5 shooting and Christopher Blair (Odessa) had eight points and a team-best six rebounds coming off the bench.

The Pirates (0-6) will travel to Denison on Monday to face Grayson College at 4 p.m. in another Region XIV contest.
