SA Warren’s Romero signs to play volleyball at Victoria College

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio Warren defensive specialist Marianna Romero has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Victoria College.

"The thing that excites me the most about Victoria College is the opportunity to challenge myself both academically and athletically," Romero said. "I am also excited to make new friendships that will hopefully last a lifetime."

Victoria College will begin playing in the National Junior College Athletic Association in 2019 and make its NJCAA debut at home on Aug. 22 against Wharton County Junior College.

"Being on the first NJCAA team for Victoria College is really exciting because I've worked very hard to play at the next level," Romero said. "This will be a history-making season, and I'm ready to start my college career with team that I can grow with. I'm ready to show the other schools in our region what Victoria College is made of."
