The Bossier Parish Community College Cavaliers scored 50 second-half points to pull away from the Victoria College Pirates and take an 81-70 win Saturday at VC's Sports Center.

Victoria College (0-4) and Bossier Parish CC (4-2) were tied at 31-all at halftime.

Brycen Thomas (Humble) came off the bench to score 17 points for the Pirates. Kenyatis Turner (Corpus Christi King) had 16 points and nine rebounds, while Devin Neil (Corpus Christi Moody) tossed in 11 points and Larryon Forde (Savannah, Ga.) had 10.

VC returns to action on Dec. 3 when it travels to face Ranger College at 7 p.m.
