CLEBURNE - The Victoria Pirates fell to 0-2 on the season after an 83-79 loss Saturday to the Paris Junior College Dragons.
Sophomore point guard Tariq Aman (Coppell/Temple College) scored 17 points in the second half and finished with a team-high 25. Sophomore guard Jordan Wallace (Fort Bend Ridge Point/Collin College) made three shots from the beyond the 3-point arc and finished with 17 points. Sophomore forward Miles Macadory (Sachse/Paris JC) had 10 points and eight rebounds. Freshman forward Cobe Dillard (Lancaster) added eight rebounds for VC.
The Pirates return to action Wednesday in a 7 p.m. Region XIV contest at Jacksonville College.
