PORT ARTHUR - The Victoria College Pirates failed to win two-straight games for the first time in school history in an 80-65 Region XIV East Division loss to the Lamar State College Seahwaks on Wednesday night.
Miles Macadory (Sachse/Paris JC) scored a team-high 18 points for the Pirates, who fell to 3-5 on the season. Jordan Wallace (Fort Bend Ridge Point/Collin College) added 15 points and Cobe Dillard (Lancaster) had 11.
The Pirates return to action Saturday at 4 p.m. when they host Tyler Junior College.
