The Victoria College Pirates pulled within three points of the Navarro College Bulldogs midway in the second half Wednesday, but couldn't get any closer in falling 81-63 in a Region XIV East Division basketball game at VC's Sports Center.

Jordan Wallace (Collin College/Fort Bend Ridge Point) and Miles Macadory (Paris JC/Sachse) each had 15 points for the Pirates (5-10).

VC will end the regular season Friday when they play at Kilgore College in a 4 p.m. contest.
