ATHENS - The Victoria College Pirates fell 25-19, 25-14, 25-16 to the Trinity Valley Community College Cardinals in the Region XIV volleyball opener for both schools.
The Pirates (2-6, 0-1) were led by Ryndee Weishuhn (Columbus), who had five kills. Maddison Heibel (Mary Hardin-Baylor/Industrial) had 14 assists.
