The Lee College Rebels held off the Victoria College Pirates 25-15, 25-19, 18-25, 25-17 in a Region XIV volleyball match Friday at VC's Sports Center.

Mikela Mireles (Harlingen South) had 10 kills, 11 digs and one block for the Pirates. Anisa Martinez (Taft), Alexandria Baker-Cooper (Fort Worth Haltom) and Ryndee Weishuhn (Columbus) each had three blocks. Maddison Heibel (Mary Hardin-Baylor/Industrial) tallied 14 assists, 11 digs and one service ace. Justice Gabaldon (Cedar Creek) had seven assists and five digs, while Addison Amick (Boerne) had 20 digs and one service ace.

The Pirates (7-13, 0-5) return to action Tuesday when they host Tyler Junior College at 6 p.m.
