WHARTON - The Wharton County Junior College Pioneers swept the Victoria College Pirates 25-21, 25-18, 25-8 in a Region XIV volleyball match Monday.
The loss sent the Pirates to 8-15 overall and 1-7 in Region XIV matches.
VC will host Blinn College in another Region XIV match Thursday at 6 p.m.
