The Victoria College Pirates won the first set Tuesday night against 13th-ranked Panola College, but dropped the next three in a Region XIV volleyball loss to the Fillies at VC's Sports Center.
The Pirates took the first set 25-23, but dropped the next three 25-16, 25-15, 25-17.
The loss dropped VC to 9-19 overall and 2-11 in Region XIV matches.
Panola College improved to 23-3 and 12-2.
